Just got home from a wonderful cruise with my family and Magic Bananas. We went on a six day cruise on the Carnival Breeze to Key West, Grand Turk, and Nassau. I had so much fun with everyone and met a lot of cool people but I am so glad to be back in Miami.
Of course, I could not go to these three beautiful destinations and not install some yarn bombs! I must admit... my yarn bombing adventures on this cruise were half the fun! :)
I yarn bombed Captain Tony's Saloon in Key West... which was not only the original Sloppy Joe's in 1933-1937 but is also the oldest bar in Florida. It was awesome and they have a deliciously dangerous drink called Pirates Punch... a must try!
Also very exciting... I think I can officially claim to have the Southernmost Yarn Bomb of the continental US! This has to be my favorite piece yet!
Also I am excited to say that Craftina Louise has officially gone international! I yarn bombed a tree in front of the Margaritaville in Grand Turk!
Also more yarn bombings on the light pole in front of the Señor Frogs in Nassau, Bahamas and on an abandoned street sign pole at the Fish Fry at Arawak Cay in Nassau, Bahamas!
This was such a fun and memorable cruise. Though I have been out of school and unemployed since December, this vacation was much needed before I sign my life away to dental school in exactly three weeks from today. More pictures soon!
